MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED
It was resolved to respond to the planning applications as follows:
WD/2007/2550/F Eridge Lodge, two storey extension to rear.
Frant Parish Council objects to this application for the following reasons:
The views of the Conservation and Design Officer should be sought for this proposal to a Listed Building.
WD/2007/1640/FR Brookside Cottage, Benhall Mill Road – retrospective
application for timber stables and store.
WD/2007/2661/F Wayside, Ely Grange – first
floor bedroom extension over utility room. loft conversion into bedroom and
en-suite bathroom. Machinery store extension to detached garage
No objection to the alterations to the house as a precedent has already been set by neighbouring dwellings. However, there is strong objection to the proposed flat roof extension to the garage which is out of keeping in this Conservation Area.
