Tourism and Links to Local Websites
Frant is well placed as a centre for local tourism round the High Weald of Sussex and Kent. First there are the attractions of Frant itself - walking down the High Street and side lanes is a pleasure in itself: medieval buildings, the village green, the well, friendly faces all combine to delight. The church of St Athan, normally open during the day, has plenty within it and around it to charm and comfort the visitor.
National Trust, English Heritage and other attractions are numerous - organised on the website alphabetically and by distance - currently from Mayfield but will be changed to show distances from Frant. Many of our neighbours - towns and villages - have their own websites, full of information to help plan a visit
If you plan to stay in the area, there is some choice - from a smart hotel to a friendly local 'B & B'. In all you will be made welcome and comfortable - make your choice here on the website or call in at the Post Office for a list. Wealden Tourist Information Centres can also help - through their website, by phone [01323 442 667] or at the Boship Roundabout, Lower Dicker
